Kazuki Sushi

This place is AMAZING. I moved here from Brooklyn about a year ago, where I'd been spoiled by really amazing sushi. Since moving here I've tried to find a new fave among 4.5+-star-rated places in West Hollywood, Sherman Oaks, West LA, the valley, etc., and I've always been disappointed by dry rice and chewy, tasteless fish.

This place is perfect and absolutely comparable to my favorite spots in NYC.

I will say that the California roll (and I'd assume anything with imitation crab) was kind of mediocre; instead of an imitation crab stick balanced with cucumber and avocado, it was 95% flaked imitation crab mixed with mayo, with a tiny sliver of cucumber and avocado. But the spicy tuna roll is delicious and high-quality, so I think some of the rolls are good.

The nigiri is where this place shines, and it's SO good. The rice is moist and well-seasoned, the fish is fresh and tender, and they actually put a tiny swipe of wasabi under the fish (which I love).

Anyway, if you've been disappointed by other places, try Kazuki. Just maybe not the California roll.

First time ordering and the food was amazing! Fast delivery. However, the portions are quite small..I only ordered the cut rolls. It's perfect for when you're craving some sushi but don't want to spend too much. I can't wait to keep ordering from here!

Absolutely delicious! The Poke Bowls were really very flavorful and the delivery time was sooner than anticipated! Fantastic service & tasty food. Definitely planning to order again!

Kazuki continues to impress me. Quality is always outstanding. Everything tastes fresh every single time. I'm addicted to their crispy rice with spicy tuna.
